Equities in Moscow end mixed

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Equities in Moscow ended mixed on Friday. The dollar-denominated RTS index rose 3.4%, while the ruble-denominated Micex stock index fell 3.1%. On Thursday, in a speech before the congress of his ruling United Russia party, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin pledged to do everything to prevent the economic collapses of the early and late 1990s, according to media reports.
