Energy stocks in the red ahead of supply data

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Energy prices fell across the board on Wednesday as Wall Street bet on bearish petroleum supply data due out later this morning. The NYSE Arca Oil Index fell 0.9% to 940. The NYSE Arca Natural Gas Index subtracted 1% to 439. The Philadelphia Oil Service Index dropped 1.4% to 170. Meanwhile, the broad market posted slim gains. Crude futures fell 56 cents to $69.91.
