Energy stocks cool off in early action

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Energy stocks cooled off in early action on Thursday after pushing to highs for the year in the previous session. Investors also looked toward natural gas inventory data due out later this morning. Sector leader Exxon Mobil fell 0.7% to $69.87. Devon Energy dipped 0.5% to $71.85.
