Smart energy savings systems company AlertMe.com sees 8m in venture funding

AlertMe.com, a provider of smart energy saving systems for homes, has secured 8m ( 9.3m) in Series B funding by cleantech and renewable energy-focused venture capital investors Good Energies, Index Ventures, SET Venture Partners and VantagePoint Venture Partners. The financing will enable AlertMe.com to extend its product development programme, continue to ramp up its distribution strategy and to expand the existing team, the company said....
